Welcome to the web site of Nicholas, my service dogNicholas is my service dog.
He pulls my wheelchair to help going up curb cuts and gravelly walks,
supports me to stand up when I fall,
also avoids steps and obstacles for I can't see well.
Brings crutch/cane or cell phone, picks up items I drop, opens doors and turns lights on...
With over 80 commands, this wonderful partner works as my hands, feet, and eyes.
I had trained my pet dog Nicholas to become a service dog,
because I wanted to walk myself, without asking people for help,
(* In Japanese language, "walking oneself (hitori-aruki)" can mean independence.)
but I am still not able to do it.
I learned to walk with a co-worker who has emotion and can be willful.
Walking together with our two wheels and four paws, bonded by the harness.
There are many things I can't do myself,
and I enjoy to do those things by teamwork of Nicholas and me.
Nicholas' Partner, as the site owner
I can do what you can't do, and you can do what I can't do.
Together we can do great things. -Mother Teresa

For this web site, I write Japanese text first then translate it into English.
No one who is a native English speaker helps me with it.
So you might find some strange expressions and misspelling, or not able to understand what I write.
I apologize for my "Japanese-English".... and still hope you to enjoy this web site!
